On September 28-29, 2017, the international conference Caucasian Cable Televisions Days – Achievements, Perspectives and Challenges will take place in Armenia.
Heads of the professional unions of cable and digital broadcasters, senior specialists and experts from Armenia, Russia, Georgia and other countries will participate in the Yerevan Forum.
The participants will make speeches and presentations on the following topics:
"Development of the cable televisions in Armenia - peculiarities and significant stages;" "Conditions of modern challenges and objectives - moving to the digital broadcasting in Armenia, analysis of the problems of cable televisions and conclusions;" "Effect of online broadcasting on cable televisions;" "fight against priate and unsanctioned broadcasting;" "offering Georgian and Armenian TV contents to international cable television market. Problems in spreading the signal and mutual assistance between the national associations;" "Must Carry - Georgian experience, problems in the relations between TV-channels and cable operators."
Legislative and other issues related with legal regulations, problems in the distribution and access to Russian and Russian-language content will be discussed during the event.
The event organizers are the Armenian Association of Cable Televisions, Russian Association of Cable Televisions and Georgian Cable Televisions Union.
